-----------------------------------------------------------

This is Kirt Bennett announcing the game.

Here are tonight's lineups:
For Weaver. Managed by Craig Pounders. Pounders is looking to defend his 2020 Kading title and there is no reason
to believe that he can't.

1.Jeff McNeill, SFC, 2B
2.Jose Abreu, LOL, 1B
3.Nelson Cruz BCW, RF
4.Edwin Rios, AVO 3B
5.Mike Yastrzemski, LOL CF
6.Alex Dickerson, SFC LF
7.Tim Anderson, AVO SS
8.Salvador Perez, BCW C
9.Marco Gonzales, SFC P

The starting lineup has 2 LOL players, 3 SFC players, 2 BCW players and 2 AVO players.
The starting 9 is from just 4 teams. Craig hates the other teams in the division. It is obvious.

The defense for Nuxhall.
Left to right in the outfield. Betts, grade 3, Arozarena grade 1, Hernandez grade 1.
Left to right around the infield. Ramirez 4, Turner 6, LeMaheiu 7, Freeman 7
de Grom is on the mound. He is a 15xyz. Nola is behind the plate with a 7 grade and a 2 arm.

Nuxhall is managed by by Derek Leighton. Leighton is a 2 time league champ. I guess that means that we have 3 rings in the manager's seat
tonight.
Leighton's Verona team has the league's best record and he will manage the home team as a result.

deGrom has finished his warmups and we are ready to get going for the 9th Matt Kading Memorial Apba league all star game.

deGrom plays for South Shore Seahorses and managed by newcomer Daniel Cogliano. Cogliano is holding
his own this year with a 41-37 record at the break.

Jeff McNeil will lead off for Weaver. 2B for South Florida. Manager Craig Ball is a big NYM fan so I am sure
that he is happy to have Jeff on his team. McNeill lifts the 3rd pitch of the game to right field.
Teoscar Hernandez is there to bring it in. 1 away.

Jose Abreu from Lake Okeechobee stands in. de Grom delivers and Abreu smacks a double to the gap in left-center.
Arozarena gets the ball in to Trea Turner.

1 out. slow runner on 2nd.

Nelson Cruz from Craig Pounders own Brew City team. Craig won the league last year. In fact, this all
star game is a rematch of last year's all star game. Pounders team won that one 11 to 9 with Carlos Santana
garnering MVP honors. Santana had a double and home run to drive in 4 runs.

Cruz whacks one to center field. Arozarena is up with the ball. Abreu lumbers home for the game's 1st run.
Weaver leads 1-0.

The viewers might be wondering about the names of the divisions. Nuxhall was named after
Joe Nuxhall. Nuxhall was the youngest player in major league history. He broke in to the game at 15 years of age.
Anyway, Joe Nuxhall was a league that many of the Kading league members belonged to in the late 80s. Weaver is named
after Buck Weaver of 1919 Chicago White Sox fame. Weaver knew about the conspiracy but did not take any money. He was
banned with the rest of the conspirators and repeatedly wrote the commissioner of baseball to ask for reinstatement and
to proclaim his innocence. Weaver was a league that many of the Kading members played together in the 90s. In fact,
the salary system and the rules were based on the Weaver league.

Edwin Rios steps in. Rios is making his 1st all star appearance. His selection was a surprise since he has never
been a regular in the major leagues. Rios plays for K. Lee Davis's Avon team. K Lee played in both Nuxhall and Weaver.
Rios goes down swinging but not before the computer sent Nelson Cruz on a successful steal of 2nd base.

2 outs. runner on 2nd. Carl Yastrzemski's grandson steps in to the box. Mike was a late 1st round pick a couple
of years ago. Yaz rips a triple with Cruz easily scoring. Weaver is up 2-0 and de Grom has given up 3 hits to
the first 5 batters.

Alex Dickerson from South Florida is another suprise selection. Similar to Rios. Dickerson is playing LF tonight.
Dickerson grounds out to Trea Turner at short and the side is retired. But not before Weaver gets 2 from deGrom
and take a 2-0 lead.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
We're back. We would to thank our sponsor: Hy Vee. A little dab with do ya.

On to the bottom of the 1st
The lineup for Nuxhall:
1.Freddie Freeman, RRB, 1B
2.D.J. Lemahieu, CVD, 2B
3.Jose Ramirez, ZZZ, 3B
4.Randy Arozarena, DYE, CF
5.Trea Turner, VER, SS
6.Teoscar Hernandez, WRI, RF
7.Mookie Betts, NAS, LF
8.Austin Nola, VER, C
9.Jacob deGrom, SOS, P

The Weaver defense:
Left to right in the outfield. Dickerson grade 1, Yaz grade 3, Cruz grade 1
Left to right in the infield. Rios grade 4, Anderson grade 7, McNeill grade 7, Abreu grade 4
Gonzalez is on the mound. He is a12z. Perez is grade 8 with a 1 arm.

Leighton will have Freddie Freeman lead off. Freeman is the highest player in Kading league history. Jim Johnson signed
Freeman to that contract. Johnson was away from Kading for awhile, but he has returned to where we think that he belongs.
Johnson played in Weaver in the 90s.

Freeman walks and Nuxhall brings the tieing run to the plate in the form of D.J. Lemahieu. D.J. is playing 2B and
plays for Conejo Valley. Lemahieu singles and Nuxhall has 1st and 2nd with nobody out.

Jose Ramirez comes to the plate. Ramirez is playing 3B and has become a perennial all star. Ramirez strikes out.
1 away.

Randy Arozarena was a MLB playoff hero last year. A 4th round pick last year, he has had a monster first half for
Dyersville. Arozarena flies out to Nelson Cruz in right field. Both runners stay put.
Trea Turner from Verona is up. Turner was acquired in the off season in a deal that sent another all star shorstop
to Randolph. Francisco Lindor. Lindor the superior defender, but Turner has some great numbers this year despite
his SS 6 rating. It will be interesting to see if Pounders brings in Tatis and his 9 rating should Weaver get the lead.

Turner grounds to his counterpart, Tim Anderson, at shortstop. Anderson flips to McNeil and the side is retired. That rally fizzled
quickly.

At the end of 1. It is 2-0 Weaver.

----------------------------------------------------------------
And we're back. We want to thank our sponsor: Hy Vee. Where's the beef?

For the top of the 2nd, Weaver will bring up Tim Anderson, Salvador Perez and then the pitcher spot.

Anderson plays for Avon and won a batting title with the White Sox last year.
deGrom, despite his 1st inning struggle, is still on the mound.

Anderson strikes out. 1 away.

Sal Perez playing for BCW this year. Perez was acquired in the offseason. Perez smacks a double to center field.
The game asks about a triple, but Pounders holds him up.

The pitcher's spot is up and Byron Buxton has been announced as the pinch hitter.
Buxton plays for LOL. Yep, still one of the 4 teams that Craig likes.

Leighton has seen enough. Chad Heuer from his father's Truax team is coming in to the game. Heuer is a 16yg.
The right hander gets Buxton to ground to shorstop. Perez moves to 3rd.

McNeill. 1 for 1 on the day. McNeill bloops a single to right field to score Perez and Weaver is up 3-0. All 3 runs were charged to deGrom.
That closes the book on deGrom. 1 1/3. 4 hits. 3 runs. all earned. 0 walks and 2 strike outs. 3 of the 4 hits
went for extra bases. Nuxhall has put themselves in an early hole.

Abreu doubled in his first plate appearance. Abreu walks to give Weaver 1st and 2nd with 2 outs.
Nuxhall has had 6 of its 11 hitters reach base.

Leighton is coming to get Heuer. Heurer only retired 1 of the 3 men that he faced.

Kenta Maeda is coming in to the game. He will bat 9th. Maeda is a 16yz and pitches for Derek's Verona team.

Nelson Cruz flies out to center field to end the inning.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
We're back. A big thanks to our sponsor: Hy Vee. Don't squeeze the Charmin.

Bottom of the 2nd inning. Hernandez, Betts and Nola are due up for Nuxhall.

Dallas Keuchel and his 13zh grade will take the mound. Keuchel is the only lefty z that Weaver has.
I wonder how that will play out. Freeman is a 5 handicap. Walsh is a 4 handicap.

Teoscar Hernandez is playing RF and will face Keuchel. Hernandez is a great hitter but he has some serious lack of
judgment on the other side of the ball. I feel that he is destined to be an OF 1 for his whole career. We shall see.
Hernandex has 33 home runs in 67 games this year. Truly a remarkable stat.
Hernandez grounds out to 1B and there are 2 away.

Austin Nola is up. This is exhibit A as to the reason that Derek is so tough. Derek was on Nola before everyone else
and Nola has turned in to a great player with a great contract. Derek will be force to be reckoned with from now on. Mark my words.

Nola flies to left and the inning is over. After 2 it is 3 nothing, Weaver.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back, EveryBODY. We are sponsored by Hy Vee. Mmm. Good!

To the bottom of the 3rd.

Maeda is still pitching. Rios, Yaz and Dickerson are due up.

Rios grounds out to 3b after striking out in his 1st at bat. The unlikely all star is batting clean up for Weaver and now 0 for 2.

Yaz tripled and drove in a run in the 1st. He grounds out to 1b with the pitcher covering.
Dickerson strikes out and Maeda has retired all 4 that he has faced.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back to the Field of Dreams. We are sponsored by Hy Vee. I can't believe I ate the whole thing.

Bottom of the 3rd.

The pitcher spot followed by Freeman and Lemahieu are due up for Nuxhall.

Springer replacing Yaz in center field. Springer plays for SFC. Yes, still one of Craig's 4 teams.

Springer is bringing his 3 in to the game while they are up 3. That is early. Did Yaz fail to run out a ground ball or something?
Dickerson is a 4 lefty handicap and an OF 1.
Yaz has no handicap is an OF 3. Oh and he tripled.

Craig is pitching his own Jake Diekman. Diekman is a lefty 20xyg.
Still one of the those 4 teams.

Christian Vazquez is pinch hitting to lead off the 3rd. Vazquez is the only other catcher on the squad. Nuxhall now loses
the ability to pinch run for a catcher to pick up a potential key run.
Vazquez plays for an orphan team and singles to open the frame.

The left handed hitting Freeman comes up and strikes out. Freeman walked in the 1st so he has yet to put
the ball in play tonight.

Lemaheiu hits an infield single to put runners at 1st and 2nd with 1 out.

Jose Ramirez grounds back to the mound and a 1-6-3 double play is turned.

End of 3 and Weaver is up 3-0.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back to the top of the 4th. Our sponsor is Hy Vee. The breakfast of champions.

Tim Anderson, Perez and the pitcher spot are due up.

Vazquez stays in the game to catch. The pitcher will bat 8th in Nola's spot.

Speaking of the pitcher. The new pitcher is Trevor Bauer. Listen to the boos.
Bauer is an 18xz.

Tim Anderson is set to lead off and strikes out for the 2nd time.

Sal Perez doubles for the 2nd time.

That brings up the pitcher. Craig is going to use his only other catcher to pinch hit in the 4th inning. Travis d'Arnaud will bat for
Diekman. Neither team has a catcher in case something happens. d"Arnaud plays for Avon. Still a core four team.

d'arnaud flies to left field. 2 outs.

That brings up McNeil. McNeil is 1 for 2 with an RBI single. McNeil flies to LF to end the inning.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back. We are sponsored by Hy Vee. Melts in your mouth, not in your hands.

Bottom of the 4th.
Arozarena, Turner and Hernandez are due up.

QUO's Kevin Gausman will pitch in the 4th inning for Nuxhall. Gausman is a 12xz.

Wait, what? Gausman doesn't play for one of those 4 teams. Was somebody listening to the broadcast and tell Pounders that
we are on to him?

Dom Smith from AVO and his 1B2 rating replaces Jose Abreu and his 1B4 rating on defense. I would like to ask Pounders about that.
It seems like he could have waited until Abreu came to bat so that they would have the better defender for the inning.

Arozarena rolls a 65 and pops out to the catcher. Just missed the 66 that would have been a home run.

Turner singles and advances to 2nd base on a hit and run ground out by Teoscar Hernandez.

Betts is 0 for 1. He ends the inning by grounding back to Gausman.

At the end of 4, it 3 nil.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back. We are sponsored by Hy Vee. Don't leave home without it.

Top of the 5th, Smith, Cruz, Rios due up.

Bauer stays in the game to face Dom Smith.
Abreu was perfect on the day and had looked like an early potential MVP candidate with a double and walk.

Smith walks to lead off the hitter. The number 2 spot in Craig's order is shining.

Nelson Cruz is 1 for 2. Cruz strikes out for the 1st out.

Rios grounds in to a force play. shortstop to 2nd base. Rios is 0 for 3.

Springer gets his first at bat and also grounds in to a force play. Springer has been on South Florida's roster
since he broke in. Well, at least it seems like it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back. Thank you to our sponsor Hy Vee. Can you hear me now?

Due up in the bottom of the 5th: pitcher's spot, Vazquez, Freeman.

Dylan Bundy from Randolph is in to pitch. He is a 13yzg.
Pounders must have run out of players from his pet teams.

Luke Voit pinch hits for Bauer. I like that move rather that using Walsh. Walsh provides more flexibilty by
playing the outfield as well as 1B.

Voit from Sioux City. Flies out to RF.

Vazquez grounds to 3B.

Freeman grounds out to 2B and Bundy has a 1 2 3 inning.

We are through 5 innings and it is still 3 naught.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome back. Hy Vee is our sponsor. A diamond is forever.

Top of the 6th. due up is Dickerson, Anderson and Perez.

In the top of the 6th and Tanner Scott will pitch and bat in the 1 hole. Scott is a lefty 15yg.
Voit stays in the game to play 1B.
Nuxhall has 3 bench players left: Walsh, Tatis and Machado. The pitcher spot has a good chance of 2 more at bats if they
score enough to come back.

Scott is a 19 against Alex Dickerson and his 4 handicap. However, Dickerson greets Scott with a double.
Dickerson is now 1 for 3.

Brandon Woodruff in to the game. Woodruff is Fairmont's only representative. Woodruff is a 14xz.

Tim Anderson made an out. Phil Rizzuto would put down WW in his scorebook for these type of instances.
WW stands for "wasn't watching."

1 out and Sal Perez is up to bat. Perez has doubled in each of his previous at bats.
Perez singles to left field and Dickerson is nailed at the plate by Betts and his 35 arm.
That is the 2nd out of the inning. Weaver now has a runner on 1st with 2 outs instead of 1st and 3rd with 1 out.

It appears as though Craig wants to hit Verdugo for the pitcher. However, he has been
experiencing some lag and puts Verdugo as a pinch runner at 1st base. He had to hit 1 somewhere in order to get
Verdugo in at 1st base. That is a problem because Weaver doesn't have any other catchers.
Chris Taylor now hits for the pitcher and Weaver loses a position player. They only have Lindor left on the bench.

Taylor is an ideal guy to have as your last guy on the bench. He can play 2B, 3B, SS and OF and he is elite at SS and OF.
Taylor struck out to end the inning.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
And we are back. Hy Vee is our sponsor. I can't believe I ate the whole thing.

On to the bottom of the 6th. LeMahieu, Ramirez and Arozarena are due up with Nuxhahll trailing 3-0.

Burnes from Stoughton is in the game to pitch. Burnes is a 16xyh.
Cronenworth is catching. grade 5 with 0 arm.

Burnes has to face 2 3 4 in the Nuxhall lineup.

Lemahieu flies to left after being 2 for 2.

Machado pinch hits for Ramirez and that leaves Walsh and Tatis on the bench for Nuxhall.
Machado flies to right.

Arozarena strikes out looking as Burnes throw a perfect inning. "Arizona" is now 0 for 3.

We are through 6 and Weaver leads 3 naught.
------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Our sponsor is Hy Vee. Have it your way.

Top of the 7th.

Due up for Weaver: McNeil, Smith, Cruz. the top 3 in the order.

Machado stays in to play 3B

Brad Hand will pitch for Nuxhall. Hand is a lefty 15 xzh for Verona.

McNeill will lead off. McNeill is 1 fo 3 on the day with an RBI.
McNeill singles and is now 2 for 4.

Dom Smith hits and runs. Smith triples. McNeil scores for a 4-0 lead. Smith gets greedy and and is thrown out
at home. That is a straight triple without the hit and run.
Those are the risks of the hit and run play. Sometimes you get and sometimes you get got.
Smith is the 2nd runner in as many innings that has been thrown out at home. The computer sent one and Craig
sent the other.

Cruz is 1 for 3 on the day. Cruz flies out for the 2nd out.

Rios strikes out to end the inning. Rios is 0 for 4.

It is 4-0 as we head to the break.
-------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Hy Vee is our sponsor. What's in your wallet?

Bottom of the 7th and Weaver pitching has a shutout.
Due up: Turner, Hernandez, Betts

Seattle's J.B. Wendelken will pitch the 7th for Weaver. Wendelken is a 13xg.

Fernando Tatis, Jr will pinch hit for Turner. That leaves Walsh as the only bench player for Nuxhall.

Tatis pops out to the catcher. He just missed the home run roll.

Teoscar Hernandez is up and 0 for 2 on the day. Hernandez crushes a home run to put Nuxhall on the board.
Hernandez has 34 home runs in 68 games this year. Wow. Have a home run year.

Betts flies out and is now 0 for 3

Voit strikes out and is now 0 for2.

Nuxhall gets on the board and now trail by 3 after 7.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Back to the game. Hy Vee is our sponsor. The ultimate driving machine.

Top of the 8th. Due up: Springer, Dickerson, Anderson

Tatis stays in the game at SS.

Dyersville's Caleb Thielbar pitching the 8th for Nuxhall. Thielbar is a lefty 13yh.

Springr pops out to the catcher and is 0 for 2

Dickerson strikes out and is 1 for 4 with a double.

Tim Anderson also pops out to the catcher and Thielbar has a 1 2 3 inning.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Our sponsor is Hy Vee. The quicker picker upper.

Due up in the bottom of the 8th: Vazquez, pitcher's spot and LeMahieu.

It is getting late for Nuxhall. They only have 6 outs left.

Salt Lake's Chad Green pitches for Weaver. Green is a 16xz.

Vazquez singles and is now 2 for 3.

Walsh pinch hits for the pitcher and that is the last position player for Nuxhall.
Nuxhall needs 3 runs and has 6 outs. The math is not in their favor to
win the game and avoid having the pitcher bat.

Walsh flies out.

Lemahieu grounds out to short with Vazquez moving to 2nd. DJ is 2 for 4.

Machado grounds to 3rd and is now 0 for 2.

Three outs left for Nuxhall and we are thru 8 in Dyersville.

----------------------------------------------------
We're back. We have been sponsored all night by Hy Vee. You're in good hands.

We are on to the 9th.

Due up: Cronenworth, pitcher's spot and McNeill

CVD's Kim is pitching. Kim is a 16zg.

Cronenworth from ESF has his 1st at bat and grounds back to the pitcher.

Lindor pinch hits for the pitcher and Weaver is out of bench players. That will not be a problem as long
as they can hold the 3 run lead in the bottom half of the 9th. Craig got everybody an at bat.
Lindor flies to center field.

McNeill grounds out to SS and is now 2 for 4 on the day.

Kim has his 1 2 3 inning. Nuxhall has 3 outs left as we head to the bottom half of the 9th.

--------------------------------------------------------
And we are back. Once again, Hy Vee is our sponsor. The king of beers.

Nuxhall is down 3 as we start the bottom of the 9th.

Due up: Arozarena, Tatis and Hernandez. Betts will bat if they can extend the game.

Devin Williams and his 21xyh hopes to get the save. Williams plays for SFC.

Arozarena singles to lead off the inning.

Cronenworth is behind the plate but down 3. Derek decides to avoid the stright steal despite the 94% success rate.
I think it is a good move. Yes, they could be taking away a double play, but they are
down 3 and the risk is not worth it in the 9th.

Derek decided not to straight steal but he did try the hit run with Tatis.

Tatis flies out. 1 out. runner on 1st.

Teoscar Hernandez is up and Williams hits him in the buttocks with a pitch. That brings up the tieing run to the plate.
That is a cardinal sin for closers. The closer HAS to make the other team earn the base runners before the tieing run
comes up.

Betts is up and represents the tieing run. A home run here would be a kick to the gut. Cronenworth with a passed ball
and the runners advance. There goes a double play chance. The defense decides to stretch with the runner on 3rd. I think
that this is a mistake since stealing home is a bad risk when down by 3 in the 9th. The defense should WANT the offense
to try to steal home.

Betts is 0 for 3 on the day. Betts singles to drive in a run. Hernandez stays at 3rd. Smart move as there is no reason
to risk an out for a runner that isn't the tieing run or go ahead run. The important run is standing at 1st. 4-2 Weaver.

Derek steals Betts to get the tieing run in scoring position. Great move.

Voit is intentionally walked to bring up Vazquez with the bases loaded. Double play is in order. However, that is
very risky with 1 out and non z on the mound.

Vazquez is 2 for 3 on the day. The pitcher is on deck and there are no pinch hitters available.

If Williams can get Vazquez, then he can end the game by getting the pitcher.

Vazquez singles in 2 runs to tie the game. Williams has blown the save. The Betts steal and the hit by pitch were each
huge in the inning. The hit by pitch scored like they tend to do.

The pitcher, Kim, is up with 1 out and 1st and 2nd. Lemahieu is on deck. Lemahieu will get a chance to win the game
as long as Kim does not hit in to a double play.

Cronenworth with a passed ball and the runners move up to 2nd and 3rd. The winning run is on 3rd.

Kim attempts a squeeze and Voit is out at home.

Kim strikes out to end the inning and LeMahieu is left on deck. Wow, incredible turn of events there.

Free baseball.
------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Extra innings are sponsored by Jack Link's beef jerky. Messin' with sasquatch.

On to the 10th inning.

Due up: Smith, Cruz and Rios

Kim stays in to pitch.

Smith grounds out to break up his perfect day. Smith had walked and tripled.

Cruz flies out. Cruz is 1 for 5.

Rios doubles for his 1st hit in 5 trips.

Springer is intentionally walked.

Lucas Sims in to pitch to Alex Dickerson. Sims is with CVD and a 17x.

Dickerson grounds back to Sims to end the inning.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Extra innings are sponsored by Jack Link's beef jerky. Messin' with sasquatch.

Due up: Lemahieu, Machado and Arozarena.

Williams is pitching.

Lemahieu is 2 for 4 on the day. Strike out.

Machado is 0 for 3 after replacing Jose Ramirez. He also strikes out.

Arozarena started the big 3 run 9th inning rally with a single. "Arizona' flies out.

Williams doesn't mess around this time.
It is a 1 2 3 inning.

End of 10 and we are knotted at quatro.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Extra innings are sponsored by Jack Link's beef jerky. Messin' with sasquatch.

On to the 11th.

Due up: Williams, Cronenworth, Lindor

Devin Williams bats for himself since there is nobody on the bench. I think that he blew the game on purpose
so that he could get to bat.
Williams doubles. Yep, the pitcher just doubled to lead off the inning.

Cronenworth bunts Williams to 3rd.

Chris Martin to pitch for Nuxhall. Martin pitches for VER with an 18yz grade.

infield in to try to cut down the go ahead run.

Lindor strikes out. Huge out for Martin.

McNeill is 2 for 5 and has a chance to put Weaver ahead. He walked.

Dom Smith strikes out to end the threat.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Extra innings are sponsored by Jack Link's beef jerky. Messin' with sasquatch.

Bottom of the 11th. Williams pitching his 3rd inning.

Due up: Tatis, Hernandez, Betts

Tatis walks and is thrown out by Cronenworth trying to steal. THe game gave Cronenworht a 0 arm. I think that it
should be a -4 arm. Tatis is a SSN 30 and Williams is a 1 move so Tatis has 29 of 36 chance to get the steal.
I think that it was a smart move that just did not pay off for Derek.

Hernandez is 1 for 3 with a home run and a million dollar wound.
Hernandez grounds out

Betts is 1 for 4 and drove in a run during the 3 run 9th. Betts flies out.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Extra innings are sponsored by Jack Link's beef jerky. Messin' with sasquatch.

To the 12th we go.

Due up: Cruz, Rios, Springer

Martin still pitching.

Nelson Cruz is 1 for 5 on the day. Cruz is hit by a pitch. Oh no. Lead off hit by pitches ALWAYS score.

Rios was 0 for 4 before a double last time up. This is day that Rios will never forget. He has played every inning in an
all star game. Rios doubles Cruz to 3rd with nobody out.

Derek brings in Barlow and his 8xyz to face Springer. I am guessing that Derek wanted the xy to get him a strikeout.
It is tough to take out the 18y here.

infield in.

Springer is 0 for 2 with an intentional walk. Springer singles home Cruz with Rios being gunned at the plate by Hernandez.
Weaver has a 5-4 lead but an insurance run was out at the plate with nobody out. That is the 3rd Weaver runner thrown out
at the plate.

Dickerson is 1 for 5 and he grounds in to a force play.

Williams struck out.

I told you that lead off hit by pitches always score.

On to the bottom half of the inning. Does Nuxhall have more magic?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are back. Extra innings are sponsored by Jack Link's beef jerky. Messin' with sasquatch.

Bottom of the 12th.
Nuxhall needs a run to keep it going.

Due up: Voit, Vazquez, Barlow

Williams has thrown 3 innings and needs to be replaced.

German Marquez pitching. CCG's lone representative. 10g

Voit is 0 for 2 with an IBB. Voit is out. WW.

Vazquez singles for his 4 hit in 5 at bats.

Barlow is up hoping to avoid a double play so that LeMahieu has a chance.
Marquez WALKED THE PITCHER. That moves the tieing run to 2nd base with 1 out.

Lemahieu is 2 for 5. DJ pops out and there are 2 outs.

Machado is 0 for 3 after he pinch hit for Ramirez. He pop sout to Rios to end the game.

This has been the longest all star game in Kading history as the game went 12 innings.
The final line 5 14 and 0 for Weaver. 4 10 and 0 for Nuxhall.
Williams with the win after blowing the save. Marquez with the save.
Martin the loser.

The game lasted 45 minutes. It was a lot of fun to watch.
Thanks to Derek and Craig.

I hope that you enjoyed the broadcast. This is Kirt Bennett signing off.
